Sono solo pochi anni che è stato affermato il ruolo primario degli stakeholder nei progetti e nel project management, ma è ormai giunto il momento di considerare che una efficace gestione delle relazioni con gli stakeholder sia un indispensabile e potente strumento non solo per affrontare la complessità dei progetti, ma anche per realizzare, con il supporto di opportuni KPI, quel valore di business e/o sociale, che corrisponde agli obiettivi alla base della stessa esistenza di ogni progetto.
La presentazione mostrerà come una innovativa riscoperta della centralità della persona nei progetti possa, con una particolare focalizzazione sui processi di avvio e di esecuzione, supportare efficacemente la soddisfazione degli stakeholder, sia in termini di requisiti che di aspettative, incrementando così il tasso di successo nei progetti complessi.

Just a few years ago, stakeholder role in project management has been recognized as primary, communication has been recognized as the major activity of project managers (at least in terms of time spent), the need of a “warm” multilateral, and often interactive, communication, replaced the routine of a broadcasted “cold” information, and, in general, the attention to project goals, and not only to project objectives, became essential.
It is now time to consider that, while stakeholder relations are in fact one of the major generators of multilevel project complexity, an effective stakeholder relationship management is the only mandatory and powerful way not only to face project complexity itself (no perfect planning and control can solve relationship issues!), but to realize, with the support of proper Key Performance Indicators, that business and/or social value, which corresponds to those project goals that were the actual reason of the project existence.
This presentation will show how an innovative rediscovery of people centrality in the projects, can support effectively the stakeholder satisfaction in terms of both their requirements, which corresponds to project objectives, and their expectations, which corresponds to project goals, by focusing on stakeholder relations in initiating and executing processes, so increasing the success rate in complex projects.
